We're Michael and Ashleigh Bello — husband and wife, parents, business partners, and the team behind Five Star Craves and Gather & Dine Catering.
For us, food has always been about more than what's on the plate. It's about bringing people together, creating memories, celebrating milestones, and giving people something they'll still be talking about after the last bite.
Michael has spent more than 20 years in the culinary industry, building his experience in the kitchen and developing a true passion for creating food that is bold, memorable, and full of flavor. He's the creative force behind the food — the one who can take familiar ingredients, add an unexpected twist, and turn them into something completely his own.
Ashleigh brings the other half of the equation: organization, customer service, business operations, marketing, and the little details that turn great food into a great experience. Together, our strengths complement each other, and over the years we started asking ourselves a simple question:
What if we built something of our own?
As a family, we knew taking that leap wouldn't be easy. Starting businesses while raising a family means long days, late nights, plenty of problem-solving, and learning as we go. But it also means showing our children what it looks like to take a chance on yourself, work together, and build something from the ground up.
That leap became Gather & Dine Catering, where we're able to be part of some of life's most meaningful moments — birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, private dinners, weddings, showers, holiday gatherings, and everything in between. We love creating menus and experiences that feel personal to the people we're serving rather than simply offering the same food for every occasion.
Then came our next adventure: Five Star Craves.
Opening a food trailer gave us the opportunity to take Michael's creativity in a different direction — fun, approachable food with big personality and global inspiration. Our menu is about taking foods people already crave and introducing flavors they might not expect, whether that's through one of our house-made sauces, a globally inspired burger, a loaded creation, or one of our signature drinks.
Most importantly, both businesses are rooted in the same thing: family.
Our kids get to see the work that happens behind the scenes — the prep, the shopping, the mistakes, the wins, the crazy days, and the moments when an idea finally comes together. This journey isn't just about owning businesses. It's about creating something our family can be proud of and building a future together.
We're still growing, still creating, and definitely still dreaming bigger.
